I was pleased to have members of your local unit assist with our sprucing up the AMVETS 509/Voiture 1274, better known
as "Jim Griffin Hall" this past weekend April, 11, 2009. The students were eager to get involved with our veterans involvement.
Cheyenne Doles, Mitchell Hazelgrove, Devon Pattingill, and Cody Campbell, were a great mixed gender of Young Marines. They
promote our comradeship, enkindles a desire to serve with veterans, enlightens the desire of others to perform community service
because of the image it reflects. The positive display of getting involved with projects like ours that day, reflects in the
general public's mind of having fun, doing what we do best through our effortless time commitment and hard work.
I was honored to have served with them for the three hours of their dedication to our veteran service organization and
hope that we can in the future continue to support each other. I look forward to our planned June 14, 2009 (Flag Day) activities
we have discussed in limited format so far. I look forward to a very rewarding activity day for everyone. Thanks Scott for
your leadership with these fine young students.

Dear Young Marines,
On behalf of the North Vernon Eagles # 4097 Ladies Auxiliary, we greatly appreciated your support in helping to make
our Child Advocacy Day a very special event for the children of our community.
We received multiple comments from all who attended regarding the excitement of the children in their enjoyment of the
various segments of the event. The parents and children were impressed with the educational experience presented in a fun
and safe atmosphere.
Thank you so much for your continued commitment to enhance our efforts to promote child safety.
